Nikkie began showing at a very young age, starting with her Akita "Sweetie" in 4H, she also did therapy work with her. In 1992 she started showing and grooming her Cocker Spaniel "Night". She began her apprenticeship at the Barking Lot in 2001 and has been a groomer there ever since. She owns and shows Gordon Setters, and also shows one of the top Sussex Spaniels in the U.S.
