Although Cathy didn't start grooming professionally until 1987 she started "grooming" dogs and cats at a very young age, starting with the family pets. First bathing and brushing, then trimming their nails, then after sneaking a pair of her Mom's scissors she began trimming their hair and never looked back. She apprenticed under the guidance of a 30-year grooming/showing veteran, and so began her grooming career.
